The Dubai Comedy Festival is the region's biggest annual celebration of stand-up comedy. Held across Dubai's top venues, the festival brings together international headliners (think Netflix specials and late-night TV veterans) alongside the best Arabic comedy stars and rising local talent.
Shows run throughout the year — the "festival" season usually peaks between October and April, but monthly comedy nights continue year-round. Each show typically features 3-4 comedians doing 20-minute sets, plus a headline act performing for 45-60 minutes.
The style varies: from observational humor and storytelling to crowd work and topical satire. Some shows are clean for family audiences; others are strictly 18+ with adult content (clearly marked). Shows in English, Arabic, and Hindi/Urdu available.
