Fujairah is on the Gulf of Oman (not the Arabian Gulf), so the water is deeper blue and the coast is more mountainous. It's quieter, more traditional, and has fewer tourists. Best spot to see the "real" UAE coast.
Snoopy Island is a natural rock formation in the Gulf of Oman that resembles the cartoon character Snoopy lying on his back. It's a famous snorkeling & dive spot with rich marine life.
